App for Outlook.com

Have you ever wished you could use Outlook.com as if it were a native app on your computer? Well now you can with App for Outlook.com! This simple Google Chrome App wraps the Outlook.com website in a Chrome application that can be run outside of the Chrome web browser.

Features
  • Launch Outlook.com from the Chrome App Launcher
  • Run Outlook.com in a window like a native application on your OS!
  • Pin Outlook.com as an application in your OS's native application launcher (such as the Mac OSX Dock and Windows Task Bar)

Please note that this is an unofficial app and was not developed by Microsoft or its affiliates. The app simply provides an app container around the Outlook.com website. Outlook.com is owned, maintained, and operated by Microsoft. I wrote this app to be able to use Outlook.com with a more native experience across multiple OS platforms. I am publishing this app hoping that others will find it beneficial.

Coming soon in v1.3:
  • The ability to switch between multiple Outlook.com accounts!
Check back soon for updates, or follow the product blog for regular updates.

  1. I just downloaded the app yesterday and for some reason the active screen in side is only 1.5" in height so it is impossible to see read anything inside of it. Is there a fix for this?

    1. Hi Dustin,

That's pretty weird. I assume it stays that way even if you resize the window? Which version of Chrome are you running and what OS do you have?

      Thanks,

      Stephen
